Terms of use
Last updated: 7 July 2026 · Version 1
1. What KeLoKe is
KeLoKe is a messaging app for families with children, organised into family units ("homes") that communicate within a closed network. It lets you send messages, photos, voice notes and videos, make calls and video calls, build a family tree, share your location and use an SOS button.
2. Who can use it
- Adults create and manage their home.
- Minors can only use KeLoKe if their mother, father or legal guardian has added them to a home and consents to the processing of their data. Children under 14 cannot sign up on their own or create or link homes.
- By using KeLoKe you declare that the information you provide is true and that, if you add a minor, you are their parent or legal guardian.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use KeLoKe for legitimate communication within your family and NOT to use it to:
- send illegal, violent or hateful content, or content that is inappropriate for minors;
- harass, impersonate or harm other people;
- violate the privacy of others or share data without consent;
- tamper with or overload the service, or try to access it without authorisation.
4. Parents' responsibility
The administrators of a home (mums and dads) are responsible for the accounts of the minors they add, for supervising their use and for deciding which other homes they link with. KeLoKe provides the tools; the judgement about who each child interacts with belongs to their parents.
5. Your account
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure. Each person must use their own account.
6. Availability of the service
KeLoKe is at an early stage and is provided "as is" and "as available". We make every effort for it to work reliably, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free or available without interruptions. We may update, modify or suspend features to improve the app.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, KeLoKe will not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. The location and SOS features are an aid and do not replace emergency services or the direct supervision of an adult.
8. Leaving
You can stop using KeLoKe and delete your account at any time from the app itself (menu ⋮ → Settings → Account → Delete my account) or by following the instructions at keloke.app/borrar-cuenta. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be heard by the courts that are competent under the applicable consumer protection rules.
